Terms of Use for users of RIDOC CMARS
The RI DOC Community Mapper and Reentry System is provided as a service by the State of Rhode Island. This website is intended to be used by assigned authorized personnel for viewing and retrieving information.
Your CMARS use is contingent upon your acceptance and adherence to these Terms of Use. By utilizing this system, you acknowledge that you are bound by these Terms of Use in your capacity as an employee of the agency the usage request was authorized under. If you are no longer an employee of said agency, permission is no longer granted/warranted.
You agree to refrain from or permit, directly or indirectly, any distribution of records, data, documents, materials, or other information obtained through CMARS, and from storing such information in a searchable database. The information being received is not public information and is protected by confidentiality laws.
You acknowledge full responsibility for all use and activities taken through the use of your CMARS user account and agree that any actions taken under your account will be deemed to have been performed by you. You are obliged to immediately notify CMARS Support of any unauthorized use of your account or security breaches.
The State reserves the right to terminate user access immediately, with no advance notice to the user, if the State believes the user has breached these terms, including but not limited to, unauthorized access to information or use that is inconsistent with these Terms of Use.
Access to CMARS and its content is provided on an "as-is" basis. The information within the site is as accurate as possible, however, the State of Rhode Island makes no claims, guarantees, or promises about the accuracy, currency, or completeness of the information provided. The State is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for results occurring from the use of the information. Efforts are made to maintain accurate and updated content, but this is not guaranteed. Users assumes the responsibility to verify any material before using or relying on it.
